Our Full Spectrum Heaters
These heaters are unique by offering near, mid and far infrared technology from one source, allowing the heat to really penetrate deep into your body.
Near Infrared
Near infrared (NIR) is the shortest infrared wavelength. NIR promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing and tissue growth.
Mid Infrared
Mid infrared (MIR) is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue to aid inflammation.
Far Infrared
The longest wavelength, far infrared (FIR), reaches deepest into the body where toxins are stored.
Optimised Heating
Infrared saunas work by heating your body directly, through safe wavelengths of light that are felt as heat. This light penetrates our bodies deeper than the heat of a traditional sauna. This means your infrared sauna does not need to be as hot as a traditional dry sauna, because the heat is directed more efficiently. This allows you to achieve a deep sweat at a much lower temperature and stay in the sauna for longer per session. When setting up your infrared sauna it’s important to consider the ambient temperature of the room in which your sauna will live, as this will dictate how hot your sauna can get.
Our Nano Carbon Heaters
Our efficient carbon heater have been carefully engineered to provide a constant high heat with even distribution – making sure there’s no hot spots.
With these heaters on the back, sides and under the legs, you can be sure that your whole body will be heated to make sure you get the most out of your sauna.

Through his training of top athletes, he’s found regular sauna use to improve cardiovascular health, improve brain function, and provide mental resilience as well as stress management.
Wood says after you begin sweating in the sauna, your cardiovascular system engages, and the heart rate rises to facilitate expanded blood vessels. “At this stage of your sauna session, the body begins to harvest all of the benefits of actual exercise except you are passively sitting in relaxation,” says Wood.

Frequently asked questions
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE INFRARED BARREL SAUNA
Traditional saunas use a stove to heat the air. As the temperature of the air increases around you, the temperature of your body increases as well due to absorption by heat convection. This causes your body to start the cooling process by transporting blood closer to the surface of the skin and opening pores through sweating.
Infrared saunas also heat the surrounding air but to a lesser degree. Instead, infrared saunas use infrared heaters to emit a specific wavelength of infrared light. Your skin absorbs this wavelength, causing your body’s temperature to rise. This elicits the same effects as a traditional sauna with less overall heat needed.
Yes, we provide comprehensive manuals alongside several videos to explain how to assemble the Sauna in a step-by-step basis. However, we do advise organising the help of a builder or expert handyman, as this Sauna assembly can be a big job for casual DIYers.
One of the main differences between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna is the heat involved while inside the unit.
Traditional dry saunas average temperature is 60 to 80 degrees Celsius, with some models reaching as high as 90 degrees Celsius.
Infrared saunas use a much milder temperature environment of between 45 to 65 degrees Celsius. However, because the heat of infrared saunas travels much deeper into the body, they can cause a more vigorous sweat at lower temperature.
Another difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna is the amount of power required to operate each unit.
Traditional saunas require more overall power to run. Our traditional saunas have either a 6kw heater (Barrel) or a 9kw heater (Hut). Our infrared saunas have either a 1.5kw heater (Oslo) or a 2.4kw heater (Copenhagen).
This means that a traditional sauna is more expensive to run than an infrared sauna. This can make a difference, depending on how often you use the unit.
