Oslo

Is the Oslo for you?
BEAUTIFUL & SIMPLISTIC INFRARED SAUNA
Make health your priority. There’s nothing quite like a 20-minute deep sweat sesh in a sauna. Due to the heat, our core body temperature rises, which means blood vessels dilate and you gain increased blood flow. This speeds up the body’s natural healing process by soothing aches and pains and/or speeding up the healing of minor skin injuries like cuts and bruises. Mend and meditate as you feel more relaxed and rested. But if the high temperatures of a traditional sauna are just too much for you to handle, our range of infrared saunas may offer the benefits of a sauna you’re after without the extreme heat. Phew.
The Oslo is a charming one to two person Infrared Sauna. Made from Canadian Hemlock wood, known for its sturdy quality and beauty, light in colour with a smooth, even grain for that rich traditional Scandinavian attitude. Featuring full glass fronts and tempered, top quality floor to ceiling glass doors, an open environment can be perceived. This also enhances a feeling of space with a pleasing outlook.
Relax and detoxify your body right in the privacy of your home and enjoy the many health benefits an infrared sauna provides such as glowing skin, increased cardiovascular health, and a better night’s sleep. The perfect addition to any household looking to maintain their overall health and wellbeing.

Optimised Heating
Infrared saunas work by heating your body directly, through safe wavelengths of light that are felt as heat. This light penetrates our bodies deeper than the heat of a traditional sauna. This means your infrared sauna does not need to be as hot as a traditional dry sauna, because the heat is directed more efficiently. This allows you to achieve a deep sweat at a much lower temperature and stay in the sauna for longer per session. When setting up your infrared sauna it’s important to consider the ambient temperature of the room in which your sauna will live, as this will dictate how hot your sauna can get. Our infrared technology has the capability to heat the sauna up to 40° Celsius higher than the ambient temperature of the room in which the sauna lives, which also keeps your running costs lower.
Nano Carbon Heater
Our efficient carbon heater have been carefully engineered to provide a constant high heat with even distribution – making sure there’s no hot spots. Frequently asked questions
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE OSLO
Traditional saunas use a stove to heat the air. As the temperature of the air increases around you, the temperature of your body increases as well due to absorption by heat convection. This causes your body to start the cooling process by transporting blood closer to the surface of the skin and opening pores through sweating.
Infrared saunas also heat the surrounding air but to a lesser degree. Instead, infrared saunas use infrared heaters to emit a specific wavelength of infrared light. Your skin absorbs this wavelength, causing your body’s temperature to rise. This elicits the same effects as a traditional sauna with less overall heat needed.
The average temperatures indoor infrared saunas will reach will be between 50-60°C , the optimal zone for sweating and pain reduction. The heat of infrared saunas travels much deeper into the body, so they are designed to provide a vigorous sweat at lower temperature. Heating capability greatly depends on external ambient temperature, with the max temperature based roughly on [Ambient Room Temperature + 40°C]. To make the most of your sauna, you’ll want to install it in a warm room, and avoid colder rooms such as a garage.
Another difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna is the amount of power required to operate each unit.
Traditional saunas require more overall power to run. Our traditional saunas have either a 6kw heater (Barrel) or a 9kw heater (Hut). Our infrared saunas have either a 1.5kw heater (Oslo) or a 2.4kw heater (Copenhagen).
This means that a traditional sauna is more expensive to run than an infrared sauna. This can make a difference, depending on how often you use the unit.
