Alpine Spas Annual Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview
The Alpine Spas Annual Prize Draw (“Promotion”) is conducted by Alpine Spas Ltd (“the Promoter”). Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promotion runs annually and is drawn on June 1 each year.

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open to New Zealand  residents aged 18 years or over.

• Employees, directors, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Alpine Spas Ltd, and its related companies, agencies, or suppliers are not eligible to enter.

• Only one entry per eligible product review will be accepted.

3. How to Enter

• To qualify, an entrant must have submitted a verified product review for a major item purchased from Alpine Spas Ltd within the 12 months preceding the draw.

• Entry is automatic once a valid review has been received and approved.

• Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, fraudulent, or otherwise do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
  
  

4. Prize

• The prize consists of a full refund of the purchase price paid for one major item reviewed by the winner.

• The refund applies only to the specific item reviewed; no substitution or transfer is permitted.

• The refund will be issued in New Zealand dollars to the same account or payment method used for the original purchase.

• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other products.
  
  

5. Prize Draw and Notification

• The winner will be selected by random draw conducted by Alpine Spas Ltd on June 1 each year, or on the next working day if this falls on a weekend or public holiday.

• The draw will take place at Alpine Spas’ head office under supervision.

• The winner will be notified directly via email using the contact details associated with their purchase or review.

• If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, Alpine Spas Ltd reserves the right to redraw the prize.

• All prize draws are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  
  

6. Verification
Alpine Spas Ltd reserves the right to:

• Verify the validity of any entry, purchase, or review; and

• Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, provides false information, or breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  
  

7. Publicity and Privacy

• By entering, participants consent to Alpine Spas Ltd using their name, review, and general location (e.g. city/town) for reasonable publicity purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

• Alpine Spas Ltd collects personal information solely for the purpose of administering this Promotion and contacting the winner.

• All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and Alpine Spas’ Privacy Policy.

• Alpine Spas Ltd may be required by law to disclose participant information and will only do so in good faith compliance with such requirements.

8. Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpine Spas Ltd and all agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising in any way from participation in this Promotion or acceptance of any prize.

• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
  
  

9. Technical and Operational Issues
Alpine Spas Ltd and associated agencies are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted entries, or for technical malfunctions, communication failures, or other events beyond their control that may affect the administration, security, or integrity of the Promotion.

10. Changes, Suspension, or Cancellation
Alpine Spas Ltd reserves the right to:

• Extend, postpone, modify, or cancel the Promotion for any reason, including but not limited to force majeure, system failure, or events outside its control; and

• Update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  
  

11. Miscellaneous

• Any “guessing” or “number” competitions conducted under this Promotion will use a randomly generated number or a fixed product specification reference as the basis for the result.

• Any imagery of spa pools or other products used in marketing materials is for illustrative purposes only; the prize relates strictly to the reviewed product.

• This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social platform.

12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
