1. Spa Descriptions and Pricing Information

In the event a spa is listed at an incorrect price, or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, the seller shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. The seller shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, the seller shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. If the goods do not match the description on the seller’s website, the buyer should inform the seller immediately so that the seller may take appropriate action.

2. Dispatch Warehouses

Spas will be freighted from either our Auckland or Christchurch warehouses depending on stock availability.

Freight rates will remain the same as listed on the website for each spa regardless of the dispatch location. Spas are also available for pickup at these warehouses. (Please contact us prior to pick-up to confirm stock availability.)

3. Return of Spa

Our terms are very simple:
a. Spas can only be returned under our 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee policy rules below. Does not apply to MSPA Inflatable Spas.
b. Spas cannot be returned if you simply change your mind after 60 days from purchase date.

4. Damages or Loss in Transit

Spas freighted form our warehouses are adequately packed. In the unlikely event, claims for damage or loss in transit must be made as follows:
a. Prior to signing pickup or delivery consignment from freight carrier the buyer must ensure there is no shortage or visible damage to outer packaging. The freight carrier’s consignment note must be endorsed accordingly at the time the Spa is delivered.

b. You MUST notify Alpine Spas and the freight carrier of any damage (internal or external damage) within 24 hours of receiving your Spa.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the full extent permitted by the laws in New Zealand, Alpine Spas shall not in any event be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits. If the materials on this website are purchased for business purposes, as defined by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“the Act”), the provisions of the Act shall not apply to the materials so purchased.

Alpine Spas does not accept any responsibility or liability for any advice taken around local council regulations including but not limited to building consents, resource consents and/or spa and swim spa fencing requirements. Any information provided is general, and is not intended to address your specific circumstances. All enquiries should be directed to and checked with the local council.

6. Copyright

Materials on this Website may not be modified, reproduced or publicly displayed, performed or distributed or used for any public or commercial purpose.

7. Privacy Policy

Alpine Spas will not pass your personal information on to any other party without your permission. Your personal information will be used only for the purpose for which you gave it to us.

From time to time we may send you spa information (including special offers) in the mail or by email.

8. Alpine Spa Warranty

In the unlikely event of a spa fault, we use service agents throughout New Zealand to service and help with troubleshooting support over our 0800 number. For servicing, the spa needs to be positioned in a way allowing access to all panels (you may become liable for additional labour and/or travel costs if this is not met).


The frame construction is guaranteed for ten years from the date of Delivery, against failure in: structure due to faulty workmanship or materials, provided that the installation, use and maintenance have been carried out in accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations.


The shells are guaranteed for five/eight* years from the date of Delivery, against failure in: structure & material due to faulty workmanship or materials, provided that the installation, use and maintenance has been carried out in accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations and owners manual.

*5 year premium range, pure spas range. 8 year platinum range spas.


All heaters (non-heat pump) & jets have a five-year warranty from the date of delivery against faulty components, provided that the use and maintenance has been carried out in accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations and owners manual. (Heating elements are not covered under this warranty against
corrosion due to water imbalance).

After 12 months this warranty is limited to supply of replacement parts and excludes labour.


Heat pumps, filtration cartridge holder, motors and pumps, ozone generator, audio system, lights, control valves, including Balboa control equipment i.e: control box and touch pads have a two-year warranty from the date of delivery against faulty components, provided that the use and maintenance has been carried out in
accordance with normal practice according to our recommendations and owners manual. – Excludes UV bulb, which carries a 1 year parts warranty (replacement bulb will be sent free of charge, to be installed by customer, if failure of bulb occurs within a 1 year period).


Alpine Spas warrant the spa cabinet against defects in materials and workmanship for a two-year period from date of delivery. This warranty specifically covers the structural integrity of the cabinet. The spa cabinet finish is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of initial delivery. Fading and weathering of the surface will occur naturally over time, and are not considered defects.


Alpine Spas Gazebo Warranty: 2 years. Fading and weathering of the surface will occur naturally over time, and are not considered defects.


All electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified electrical contractor. Failure to do so will immediately VOID this warranty. Alpine Spas reserves the right to ask for proof that the spa has been installed by a qualified electrical contractor.


The warranty is not transferable.

This warranty does not extend to wear and tear or damage resulting from accident, negligence, misuse or inappropriate chemical maintenance of the Spa.

The pool must be maintained and the water therein chemically treated according to sound and well established methods. Abrasive cleaners are not to be used on any surfaces.

The Spa must not be left empty in direct sunlight as this will result in damage to the spa surface and plastic fittings.

The guarantee shall be invalid if the spa pool is damaged by earth or ground-fill movement, Act of God, acts of aggression, by accident, or by intentional, reckless negligent acts of any person. In no event shall Alpine Spas, its agents or employees, be liable for Injury to any person for any claim of damage, however arising.

Spa cannot be altered or modified from its original state. All servicing and repairs to be carried out only by a service agent authorised by Alpine Spas Limited.

This warranty does not include all commercial installations, ie.: hotels, motels, gyms, sports clubs where larger bather density applications are apparent. Please contact us to confirm which model is best suitable for your environment.

If any such defects appear or occur the Purchaser shall inform Alpine Spas or its representative by notice in writing within seven days of such defect. Any such notice is required to set out the exact nature of the defect and the circumstances in which it was noticed. (Email: [email protected] or call 0800 99 33 88).


This warranty is the only warranty offered by Alpine Spas and excludes any other implied or oral undertakings. Except as described above, this warranty does not cover defects or damage due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, alteration with Alpine Spas’ prior written consent, accident, acts of God, misuse, abuse, commercial or industrial use, use of an accessory not approved by Alpine Spas, failure to follow Alpine Spas’ Pre-Delivery Instructions or Owner’s Manual, or repairs made or attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative of Alpine Spas. Alpine Spas or it’s agents will not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss or injury. Alpine Spas will not be liable for costs associated with but not limited to building alterations, removal costs, delivery costs, or labour costs associated with the replacement of a spa.


9. 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

In order to qualify for the Alpine Spas 60 day right of return the following criteria must be met:

1. You must be the original owner of the spa – purchases are not transferable.

2. You must deliver to the nearest freight depot. All costs of removal, return and the original delivery cost for the spa are the customers responsibility.

3. Your eligible spa must be in as new condition as determined by Alpine Spas or Alpine Spas Agent. Such damage may include, without limitation, internal or external scratches, scrapes, dents, odors, rips, burns, etc.

4. Your spa must be returned to the depot in the same working order as it was received on pickup/delivery.

5. Your spa must not have been subject to any liens or other security interests.

6. A minimum of (30) days must have passed since the delivery date of your spa.

7. Your spa must undergo a full inspection by an Alpine Spas representative before a refund is given.

8. If you choose to proceed with the return, you must notify us in writing to PO Box 79114, Avonhead, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.

10. Delivery & Pickups

Alpine Spas can deliver almost anywhere in New Zealand. We have a number of different options to suit your situation including pickup, depot delivery, curbside delivery, manpower options, hiab cranes, crane and even helicopter delivery.

Auckland & Christchurch:
Standard and Platinum Spas, Hot Tubs and Gazebos
*FREE delivery is available in Auckland and Christchurch via a tailgate truck to your driveway (we call this curb side). Alternatively you can pick up with a trailer from either of our Auckland or Christchurch distribution centers.

If you need your spa put in place then please enquire about our manpower or hiab crane options. (Delivery fee applies)

Swim Spas and Entertainer Spas
*FREE in Auckland and Christchurch via hiab crane delivery (within 7m from hiab).

We can also customise a delivery for you, ask us for options. (Delivery fee applies)

Nationwide (North & South Islands):
Standard and Platinum Spas, Hot Tubs and Gazebos
FREE Delivery is available to selected depots nationwide.

Other options include delivery to your driveway via a tailgate truck to your driveway (we call this curb side), alternatively we can offer manpower or hiab crane options (selected areas only) to get your spa into place. Please ask us for options. (Delivery fee applies)

Swim Spas and Entertainer Spas
We can deliver FREE to selected depots or alternatively we will provide a contribution towards your delivery by $1000 for Swim Spas or $350 for Entertainer Spas. Customised delivery options available, contact us to discuss your delivery requirements.

Contact us to confirm stock levels at your nearest warehouse. (Most Alpine Spas are held in stock ready for immediate delivery).
Typically delivery times for curb side delivery New Zealand wide are between 3-5 working days from dispatch date. Full payment must be received 1 week prior to dispatch date. Dispatch date is the date it leaves the warehouse. Delivery is to curb side only.
Alpine Spas Ltd. has full insurance cover while your spa is being freighted for peace of mind.
Transport pickups organized by customer and not through Alpine Spas is done so at their own risk. Once product is collected, Alpine Spas is not liable for any damage and is the transport companies responsibility to ensure safe and secure delivery.

11. Similar Elsewhere:

Alpine Spas regularly compares our spa prices against a range of NZ suppliers and their similar functions and specifications. We call this “Similar Elsewhere”.

12. Payment Options:

To make your Alpine Spas purchase as easy as possible, we offer the following payment options: (Payment must be made in full before collection or delivery of your spa.)
Bank Deposit, Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard), Eftpos, Q-Card, Farmers Card, GEM/GE Card & Gilrose Finance. There is no surcharge for credit card payment.

12. Custom Orders & Deposits:

1. Deposits on customized orders are non-refundable due to specialist manufacturing processes. (This includes all Swim Spa purchases).
2. Deposits on default standard & platinum spas are refundable.

13. MSPA Inflatable Spas Warranty:

MSPA Inflatable Spa units are covered by a 6 month parts warranty. In the unlikely event of an issue occurring that require parts, they will be sent to customer with instructions for easy changeover/fix. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
